Steer clear of fatty cuts of beer and pork, eschew the deep-fryer, and opt for dairy products sporting nonfat or low fat labels. "This doesn't mean trying to avoid fat entirely, however," he says. "In limited amounts, the right kinds of fat the monounsaturated type in olive oil, for example, and the fat in fish can actually be quite healthful for the skin."
