Fatty Foods

Fatty Foods
When you're feeling depressed, comfort foods are what you crave. Food high in saturated fat-fast-food hamburgers and fries, a pint of premium ice cream-may taste great going down, but you'll end up feeling more depressed in the long run. Fatty foods slow the body down. You feel tired and sluggish. That's because fats inhibit the synthesis of neurotransmitters by the brain by causing the blood cells to clump together. The result is poor circulation, particularly to the brain.
