Alcohol and Depression

Alcohol and Depression
Alcohol is a no-no if you're depressed. "It's a depressant. Alcohol's first effect on the system is to depress your inhibitions, but after 30 minutes it depresses the rest of you. Your judgment becomes depressed, and you begin to do things you aren't proud of. And that just eats away at your self-esteem and makes you more unhappy."

Alcohol is also dehydrating. That effects the body by making you tired. If you do drink an occasional beer or glass of wine, drink plenty of water also. Match each glass of alcohol that you drink with the same amount of water.
